What is GOOBS?
GOOBS is an infinite runner set in a candy world full of cute characters.
Candy Boost Bar
A lava-lamp inspired energy meter that fills with every bubble collected. When it's full, the entire screen erupts in slow-motion candy fire.
Three Ways To Play
Classic is the main challenge — reach as far as you can and climb the leaderboards. Zen for players who just want to chill and enjoy the ASMR bubble pops. Chaos Zen for scoping out the difficulty curve without any danger.
Collect Everything
This is what happens when you let your 9-year-old direct development: 30 unlockable skins at launch. 😂 Every one of them earnable in-game.
Meet The Goobs
Dragons 🐉 ghosts 👻 leprechauns 🍀 princesses 👑 and more — each character has 18 expressions that react to what's happening in your run. Earn them through achievements or buy them with jelly coins you collect while playing.
Honest Monetization
No tricks. No paywalls.
- Free to play. Play as much as you want — no energy bars, no lockouts.
- Optional $1.99+ donor tiers remove all ads (banners + the mandatory ones between runs), plus a little thank-you bonus bundle.
- Optional jelly coin packs if you want to skip the grind. Always earnable through normal play.
- Rewarded ads (your choice) for revives and bonus rewards.

A Note From The Developer
GOOBS is my first game.
It started as a small project I was building with my daughter — just a fun thing for the two of us. Then I started bringing it to work with me on night shifts, and somewhere in those quiet hours it grew into something much bigger.
I'd come home from long shifts and show her what I'd added. She'd play it and give me her notes — 'when can we unlock more characters, dad?' — and I'd nod, and over time the game grew far past anything I originally planned.
Honestly? It just clicked. That creative itch I've had my whole life — drawing, gaming, wanting to build things — game dev scratches all of it at once. I fell for it instantly. Sure, there are head-scratching moments. Things break. Problems take countless hours of tweaking to solve. But when it finally clicks together and works the way you imagined — there's nothing quite like that. So I decided to put GOOBS on the Play Store, share it with whoever finds it, and see where the road goes.
Confession: I'm a PC gamer at heart, and somewhere in the middle of this project I looked at other mobile games and realized I may have over-engineered some of the mechanics. Did way too much. But hey — this is my first ever project, it's nowhere near perfect. 😂 Not exactly going for any game-of-the-year awards here. But I learned a ton, and genuinely loved the process. Lesson noted for next time — keep it simple. But this one is what it is, and my daughter loves it, which is honestly a win in my book.
Hope you find something to enjoy in it too.

I'm Jónþór Hill — GOOBS is my first project. It started as something fun to make with my daughter. I've got 4 kids at home, so most of my dev time happens during the quiet hours of my night shifts. No publishers, no team yet — maybe one day. For now, just a solo dad-dev making something fun for my kids.
